The Lakers Blowout The Heat In Game 1 Of The NBA Finals

The Lakers Annihilate Heat In Game 1 Of The NBA Finals

Well, the question of the Lakers showing up for game one of the NBA finals cold has been answered as the Los Angeles Lakers put together a complete game masterpiece in their 116-98 victory over the Miami Heat.

The final score actually doesn’t reflect the total blowout as the Lakers took their foot off the gas in the 4th quarter. At one point the Lakers lead by 32.

As usual LeBron James dominated the game in all phases as he scored 25 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and had 9 assists in the game. His partner in crime, Anthony Davis finished the game with 34 points.

The Heat suffered several key injuries during the game as Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic both were forced to leave the game. Then there was the less than notable performance from Duncan Robinson who scored zero points in 27 minutes of valuable playing time.

The reality is the Lakers dominated the game from midway through the first quarter and never looked back.

Looking forward to game 2, the Heat are going to need to make some major adjustments on defense if they have any hope of winning a game in this series. Let’s just say the initial decision to play man defense did not work and when they finally shifted to a zone defense it was too late.

Dominate, hard to stop, and in total control sum of the Lakers game 1 NBA Finals masterpiece.
