The Super Bowl just finished up and Tom Brady did it again as he is now the owner of 7 Super Bowl rings. Clearly, Tom Brady has moved into the greatest NFL player of all-time conversation.
Just think about how great Brady has been over the past 20 years. Sure Patrick Mahomes has been great over the last couple of years, but Brady has been great for such a long period of time, and that my friends sum up the very definition of greatness.
In order to be called the greatest of all-time, you have to be great for a long period of time and that is exactly what Brady has accomplished throughout his career.
So what makes Brady continue to want to put in the work, year after year? For Brady that chip on his shoulder has never left his side since he was drafted 199th in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL draft. It’s that chip on his shoulder that landed him in Tampa Bay, and it’s that same chip that will bring him back for another season with the Bucs.
“This team is world champions forever, you can’t take it away from us,” Brady said after the game.
When asked if he would return next season, he added: “We’re coming back.”
