In less than 48 hours Patrick Beverley has moved from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Memphis Grizzlies in a trade and then was sent from the Grizzlies to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday.
As you might imagine it has been an interesting couple of days for Beverley who now finds himself on one of the youngest teams in the NBA.
Beverley is widely regarded as one of the toughest competitors and leaders in the NBA which is exactly what the young t-wolves need. To be clear this move is not going to win the championship for the wolves but it does lay the groundwork for revamping the team with some tough veteran leadership which is the formula the Phoenix Suns used this past year.
While Patrick Beverley does not have Chris Paul’s offensive skills, you can defiantly see Beverley who plays tenacious defense should impact the rest of the young wolves roster in a positive way.
Beverley has already demonstrated his willingness to be part of the young team with his first tweet as a member of the T-Wolves.
